
Lübbert has over 15 years of audit and advisory experience serving public and private companies in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, technology and service companies. He is considered a specialist for international engagements due to his European background as a native German. He started his career with Grant Thornton (GT) in Germany fourteen years ago and joined the Minneapolis office of GT in 1998.
Lübbert's experiences also include a two-year European secondment to GT's Paris, France office where he was a member of the International Business Center, which provides a focal point for international referrals. Lübbert provided his clients with US accounting, auditing and advisory expertise for their operations throughout Europe, including France, Germany, the U.K., Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

Joachim Baecker brings to NOVOTERUS over 17 years of industry experience in project management, import & export logistics, industrial sales and marketing, with an additional 10 years of marketing, design and translation work. Joachim speaks English, German and Spanish and although born in Minneapolis, USA, Joachim carries both U.S. and German citizenship. His “home bases” in Germany include Braunschweig and Lüdenscheid. Besides Novoterus, Joachim currently owns several additional businesses in sales and commercial real estate. He is married to his wife Juli and has three stepchildren.
